Singapore Snaps

A feature of Singapore's older buildings are the plantation shutters on so many
of the buildings. Striking colours and beatuifully maintianed. The government
is quite strick about preservation.

The famous Maxwell eating hall. For many years locals have gathered and eaten here.
Traders offering a range of food and drinks. We stopped at the end of a long day of exploring
to enjoy an iced lemon tea.

As we walked through the park these men were weeding what looked like
a sandy area. They were meticulously removing errant pieces of grass using small
pocket knives. Slow and tedious work, or so it appeared.
