Half the fun of any travel adventure is in the planning and anticipation of what lies ahead. Vicki and I are currently planning our trip to Italy next month, We have almost a month of precious days to look forward to. For us Italy is a siren, she keeps calling to us; willing us to return. This time our itinerary includes time in Rome, a week on Capri and some extended time in the province of Puglia. Each Italian adventure has taken us to new parts. Pulgia or Apuglia as it is sometimes referred to is a region mostly renowned for its agricultural heritage. The area hugs the Adriatic coast and has in recent years begun to shake off its rustic image and is fast becoming a tourist destination. We are looking forward to exploring this diverse and intriguing part of Italy. Of course we are immensely excited about spending time on the Isla de Capri. Island life has its unique charm and we intend to give ourselves over to it. Lots of walking, exploring and discovering lay in store.
